This is a new logo for kuchbhi.com, It's a site which quite likes to go with its name, kuch bhi (anything) it has info about almost anything to everything.

I must add, It was a very challenging task as creating something with such a name, well I guess it will always be a challenge to a designer to create a logo. Here I didn't have the freedom of using background color as their website is already up and the color for the background they have already choose is orange, so for the logo first I had come up with the color combination with orange that I can play with, this helped along way to create the logo.

Then during the initial sketches I played with the words 'Kuch Bhi' and ended up using just 'K' and 'B'. While sketching I realized that 'K' and 'B' makes a good smiley, that gave me a good idea and then I settled on my computer with Abode Illustrator and started playing with fonts. after a while I made myself quite happy and sent in the logo to the client, Ajay (client) is quite a difficult person to be pleased, he gave me a list of changes which I incorporated and well you can see what we have came up with.

Well do i have to say this logo is for a restaurant?

Indian Curry House, this restaurant is shaping up in Singapore and will start cooking by the first week of April.

Before I start once again, I sincerely believe I need to apologize for being away for so long. I am really sorry!

In this process, the most difficult and important thing to do was to come up with my own logo/identity. As it becomes my identity and has to represent me. Trust me its not easy for any designer to come up with a logo for himself. It is something which can't be searched on Google or can't be read about in books. I had lots of soul searching sessions with myself. Asked tons and tons of questions to myself. Quite a funny and stupid ones, like... 'how I am?' or 'what I am?' no, no, I m not gonna tell you what answer I got. But I did understand that I am very chaotic, puzzled, I like things up side down, I see things in unusual angles and I smile a lot. Well I got my ingredients but were they enough to create my identity. Well, I guess not but they did helped a lot to come up with various designs and now you can see what I have here.


From now onwards this is what I am using as my logo, my identity. I hope you like both my website as well as my identity.

Sarmad - cranky, mad and an awesome friend to have. He runs a blog where he writes about his passion, Bikes. One of his posts was also featured in Mumbai Mirror. What can I say he is kind of a celebrity. And I had an opportunity to create a logo for him which he can use in his blog.

I went with his name ‘Mad Sarmad’ and created couple of designs. Many of it he liked too but he kept on pushing me for more. He also helped me visualize and told me what was there in his mind about his logo or identity which really helped me to come up with this.

However my personal opinion was to go with the logo here as I thought it was the best I ever created but then it was his call and I guess he choose the best.

Singapore Gems is a sister-concern of Nazim Brothers, whose Logo I did previously, I have also redesign their website. It's always great to work once again with people you have worked before. Yes, I am talking about Hamza from Nazim Brothers. Since I knew his taste and his choice by now, I knew exactly what he would like me to do for this logo.

The logo here might resemble a bit with Nazim Brothers logo, that was the whole idea as both the companies are owned by same people and has the same business line up. More over they wanted the logos to resemble. There was a point where Hamza wanted both logos to look the same and just wanted me to change the name and send it to him. But I insisted on giving him something similar but better.

After many trial and errors, I came up with this design which kinda looks similar to the Nazim Brothers logo. When I showed it to Hamza, he liked it as well. I gave the finishing touches and now they are using the logo on its name cards and all other stationeries.

Hey Hamza where are those stationeries which you suppose to send me?

Here I stop adding the watermark on my logos as many of you said it distracts you all.

Here's something I created for a friend cum sister, Divya. She is very cute, innocent and simple. She is a complete girl who loves to do things which all girls like to do.

As far as I know her, she is like a butterfly who wants to fly high but don't want to leave the flowers on the ground. With all this in mind I designed this simple logo for her.

She loved the logo which is the most satisfying thing for a designer.
